Yngvil Zimmermann
I am a registered member of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS), holding a Diploma from the Bristol School of Shiatsu, a Postgraduate Certificate in Movement Shiatsu, and a Certificate in Shiatsu Shintai Structural Alignment. I am committed to ongoing professional development and receive regular supervision.
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel disconnected and tense. Shiatsu offers a  counterbalance to this, helping you to release blockages, restore flow, and find a more present and easeful way of being.
My touch is intuitive and mindful, bringing awareness to physical and emotional tension. Working with muscles, fascia, and joints, I support you in releasing pain, emotions, and stress. My collaborative approach helps you explore how you hold yourself and unravel unhelpful patterns.
Inspired by the natural world and a desire for a slower, grounded life, I am passionate about helping others experience the transformative power of Shiatsu.
Shiatsu, meaning “finger pressure,” uses acupressure points, gentle manipulation, and stretching to affect the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems, supporting your body’s innate healing abilities and encouraging deep relaxation and well-being. Applied through clothing, it is a gentle yet profound way to reconnect with yourself.
