I absolutely love working at the Practice Rooms on St. Paul’s Road. It’s a beautiful old building, and has been thoughtfully equipped with lovely little treasures of all kinds! There is a really peaceful environment here and my clients always comment on how much they enjoy and value the space and the way it’s all laid out.

Meet the Manager

ABI NEWMAN

Abi joined Clifton as our practice manager in 2026. With a heartfelt enthusiasm for community building and space tending, they bring a warm, grounded, and relational presence to the role. As practice manager, they care deeply about the feeling of the space. “Alongside the practical running of the centre, I recognise the vital importance of the atmosphere, the rhythm, and the small details that help people to arrive, feel welcome, and settle into themselves. For me, the centre carries the feeling of a long-awaited exhalation: nourishing and rooted in connection.”

Abi is dedicated to nurturing the sense of community that exists here, and you will often find them in the communal kitchen watering plants, making tea and sharing conversations. “For me, it is these everyday moments of connection that create the warmth and sense of belonging that make the centre feel so special.”

Alongside managing the centre and holding their own therapeutic practice, Abi can often be found following birdsong through the woods, dancing, playing with clay, or dreaming up new adventures.
