Set within a lovely period property in the heart of Broomhill, Sheffield, we offer 10 beautiful rooms (with parking) on highly flexible terms to suit both established therapists and those beginning their practice. Each room has its own charm and ambiance to suit a wide range of different therapies. As with all our centres, the rooms are professional and welcoming, allowing you and your client to feel comfortable and at ease. All rooms consist of at least 2 therapy chairs, suitable for a wide range of talking therapies including counselling and psychotherapy. A number of rooms also have access to treatment couches.

Whilst there is no ‘formal’ disabled access through the front door there is ‘informal’ access via the therapist’s room and a ramp down from the car park at the rear. There are two working rooms on the ground floor and a toilet (though not formally compliant).

There is a large carpark situated at the rear of the building.

Over decades I have used so many different venues and therapy rooms in my role as an independent social worker and clinical hypnotherapist. The Practice Rooms have to be one of the best settings I have worked in for therapeutic purposes. The rooms are beautifully set out; my clients feel comfortable, relaxed and safe in the knowledge no-one can hear what is said in the rooms. The building is well maintained and managed excellently. I am very happy to be working in The Practice Rooms.
Rates
Flexible Membership – £56 pcm.
Includes 4 hours of room use per month – any time, any day, any room (subject to availability)
Half price membership available for Trainees & Graduates (subject to availability and for a set period)
Additional weekday hours – £12ph (charged in arrears)
Additional weekend hours – £7.15ph (charged in arrears)
Slot Membership – Save money when booking regular weekly sessions.
Same day, same time, same room – minimum of 3 consecutive hours, start time to suit you (subject to availability)
3 – 9.5 hours per week – £10.20ph
10 – 14.5 hours per week – £9.18ph
15 – 19.5 hours per week – £8.16ph
20+ hours per week – £7.14ph
All weekend slot hours – £6.45ph
All Memberships start on 1st of the month
Meet the Manager
Clark has worked ‘behind the scenes’ at The Practice Rooms for as long as the original Sheffield practice has been open – helping with painting, renovating, setting up new centres and standing in as practice manager when needed. He is dedicated to supporting and maintaining the incredible community at Sheffield. “I love the sense of calm here,” he says. “The stress-free environment. And the plants! Seriously, they add life and feeling to the centre, and it wouldn’t be the same without them. The plants are always thriving, on the off chance one takes ill, we have what we call the ‘plant hospital’ so they can get some TLC.”
