My aim is to make a positive difference in women’s lives, helping them to live confidently and energetically in mid-life, and beyond.
Typically, I help women aged 45 to 55 who are struggling with the challenges of poor sleep and emotional ups and downs affecting their work life, their home life and how they feel about themselves.
I help women to sleep better and get their emotions in balance so they feel like themselves again, with the energy to live life to the full in the way that they want to – feeling happy, healthy, confident and looking great.
My work is truly person-centred, helping each individual woman to achieve the outcome they want.
I do this today as I had a tough time several years ago. I had a demanding job, I was a single parent, I ran the home and had a myriad of other responsibilities. Stress was manageable until I stopped sleeping well which led to extreme tiredness and on top of that, mood swings put me on an emotional rollercoaster. Other symptoms cropped up too and I began to shrink from work opportunities. I lost confidence, I felt embarrassed, I worried about my performance at work and began to stress about being judged.
Through my own research and from talking to other women I discovered that I was going through ‘normal’ mid-life changes although I felt far from ‘normal’! I connected my mind and body to the changes, overhauled my lifestyle, used the power of aromatherapy, cleansed my diet and exercised. This helped me to sleep better, stabilise my emotions, regain energy, ease fatigue, and show up as my best self each day. I was able to shift from feeling wretched to feeling well, looking well and performing well.
Now, as a Complementary Health Practitioner, I help women to navigate through the stresses and strains that the changes of mid-life can bring so that they can live life to the full, in the way that they want to - feeling happy, healthy, confident and looking great.
Workplace Support: As a Chartered Manager and qualified in Human Resource Management, I draw upon extensive skills and experience as a workplace manager to bring awareness, information, and guidance into an organisation. I help managers and employees understand, support, and help women as they navigate through a challenging time.
