I use a trans diagnostic, existential and humanistic therapy in which I work collaboratively with you to teach you to be your own therapist, able to self manage your unhelpful beliefs, symptoms and behaviours.
REBT can be effective for managing anxiety, depression, hurt, anger, guilt, shame, jealousy and envy.
Together we will identify and challenge your unhelpful beliefs and behaviours, and find the best way of integrating healthier, supportive beliefs.
Prior to training as a therapist I managed healthcare businesses including complex care, learning disability, autism specific and mental health services, so I understand some of the unique issues and competing priorities which affect people working in or managing caring and frontline services.
The ABC model of REBT can help you “undisturb” yourself and regain control of your emotional responses, once you are in control of your mind you can start to choose the way you want to act, feel and live.
