I offer affordable, in-person psychotherapy in Bristol and Bath. We can all find ourselves confused and in pain at times. This may be when we are struggling with relationships, we're stuck in repeated patterns of behaviour, or when we are striving to find meaning in life. Psychotherapy can help you gain a better understanding of issues that may be troubling you, through expressing and reflecting on your feelings in a supportive and relational space. I have a deep longing to connect with people. I will aim to explore with you, your difficult emotions and aspects of your past and present that maybe influencing your current distress. As a psychotherapist in training, I draw upon a range of approaches to suit the uniqueness of each client.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, addiction, sex and relationship issues, and concerns around identity, trauma, grief and loss. Often the issues that are troubling you weave and interrelate and are part of what it is to be human.
I am currently in the 5th year of studying for an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC).
Alongside my private practice, I have been on a long-term placement with the Counsellors' Collective, offering psychotherapy to clients referred by their GP. I am also a Trustee at The Harbour, a Bristol-based charity which offers counselling and psychotherapy to those affected by death, dying and bereavement.
I consult regularly with a UKCP registered supervisor about my work and I adhere to UKCP's ethical principles.
