I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor working with individuals and relationships (couples/intimate partners and other relationships).
I offer a confidential space for you to explore what is challenging for you, to find your own resources and your own way. I practice in a holistic way - including attention to your mind, body and spirit. I am also interested in the impact on you of the social context in which you live. and on helping you to navigate your world so that you are able to express your whole self in different areas of your life.
I have worked with people dealing with a broad range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship difficulties (family, friends, workplace), culture shock, issues of identity, trauma, and life crisis. I have also worked with people seeking a clearer sense of self and a clear direction in life. I am interested in your unique nature. Your individuality and the direction that your life is taking will shape the way we work together. I will be alongside you, supporting you to discover your own resources and talents and to create choice for yourself.
I have worked as a therapist and supervisor in the third sector, in Higher Education and in private practice. In Sheffield, I have been deputy manager of the clinical team at Sheffield Mind; and a therapist and clinical supervisor at the University of Sheffield student counselling service.
I am on the UKCP Supervision register. I have worked with supervisees from a range of different modalities including integrative, person-centred counselling, and gestalt, and including trainees and qualified counsellors and therapists. I also supervise third sector workers and community activists.
