I am a Person centred UKCP registered Movement Psychotherapist, specialising in the integration of body and mind. I offer a creative and permissive space for you to explore with or without words, to access your creativity, to connect to your breath and your embodied self.
Allowing space for our bodies to be present in the therapeutic process enables a healing from within, an ability to listen deeply to ourselves and respond compassionately to the voice inside.
I have been practicing for 18 years in the voluntary sector (Dance Voice Bristol) and private practice, in this time I have worked with people from zero to their nineties, in a variety of contexts and with a variety of needs. I have had extensive experience working in community Mental Health, Addiction, Learning Disabilities and Special Needs, ASD, Early years and Hospice care.
I have managed and lectured on the Canterbury Christ Church University and Dance Voice MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy for 10 years, providing an understanding of both the Higher Education system and most importantly the student therapist experience.
Alongside one to one and group therapy I offer creative clinical supervision.
