I am trained to provide a number of evidence-based psychological therapies including Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. I work in an integrative way, meaning that I do not use the same therapeutic approach with each client. Instead, I draw on different therapeutic approaches in order to best suit your unique needs and goals for therapy.
In addition to providing psychological therapy, I offer one-to-one Yoga Therapy appointments. Yoga often compliments traditional talking therapy. The Yoga Therapy that I offer is aimed to help people struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, or "burn out". Yoga can also be an excellent way of building resilience, enhancing our physical and emotional wellbeing, and reducing the impact of stress on our bodies. No previous yoga experience or flexibility required.
A good therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is an essential part of successful therapy. My first priority is always to provide a safe, confidential and supportive space for you. From there we can work together to help you to address the issues that brought you to therapy.
