I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where we can work together in understanding the nature of your difficulties. I work in a relational integrative way which means I draw on a variety of approaches to inform our work, depending on what feels most appropriate for you.
My experience includes but is not limited to issues of self-esteem or confidence, anxiety, depression, life decisions and transitions, confusion, loss and relationship difficulties.
I also have a background in social care which has given me an awareness of disability, including the impact of health problems and sensory impairments.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.
I understand it is important to find the right person to work with so the initial assessment session is an opportunity to see if we are well suited to work together as well as looking at how counselling can support you. Some concessions are available (please enquire). Please see my website: www.rheahughescounselling.co.uk for further information.
