Our Community

“A very nice community of therapists, who have respect for the space, and each other.”

(Chandani Amin, Islington)

As a collective of over 1500 therapists and practitioners, we depend on a shared vision of what matters, and what is important

The vision behind everything we do is the desire to put our therapists where we believe they should be – in beautiful rooms, and in a supportive environment that reflects the serious commitment they make, hour after hour, to the health and wellbeing of their clients.

And to do this, we take good and careful care of all our therapists…

As one of our practitioners, you are part of a community that includes the following benefits and ethos:

Every centre has a therapists’ kitchen/lounge  – with space to make drinks and to sit and reflect or share good practice with colleagues

Each centre has a dedicated practice manager – whose job it is to facilitate the smooth running of the centre, and support each therapist as a vital part of our community

We offer a free online meditation session  – for all our therapists, every month

We have a Mindfulness Code of Practice – which all therapists sign on joining

We facilitate a wide range of peer support groups for our members  – dealing with topics such as marketing, accounting, confidence, self-employment and professional development

We host several networking and social events – for therapists at our centres throughout the year

Our Mindfulness Code of Conduct

We believe that the therapeutic workplace is a sacred space that should be respected and safeguarded by all practitioners working within a disciplined practice.

With no receptionist, the rooms depend on practitioners taking a responsibility for their workplace themselves. We believe that this is part of the development of a community that exists on mutual trust and shared responsibility. It also requires therapists to respect the space and ensure that it is left at least in the state they found it… if not better.

We have drawn up a simple mindfulness code that seeks to articulate a basic framework that all practitioners agree to abide by.
