The Practice Rooms in Oxford is situated in the heart of Summertown, within The Old Bakehouse, the original ovens now a stunning centerpiece at the entrance. The centre consists of 7 rooms situated on the ground and first floor of the main building, with a further 3 rooms with private entrances at the back of the building. All rooms have been decorated to a high standard, with rooms suited to talking therapies, couch-based therapies, and small groups. Two rooms on the ground floor also have sinks within the rooms.

NB: We are no longer taking on any new therapists looking to rent rooms during the week. You can contact us if you are interested in weekend room use, or would like to go on our waiting list.

Accessibility

There are 4 rooms within the building on the ground floor and an additional 2 rooms on the ground floor with outside access. Customer toilets are situated up half a flight of stairs between the ground and first floor.

Where to park

There is some on-street parking on South Parade offering 2 hour s parking (no return). There is more on-street parking within 10 minutes walk with 2 or 3 hours no return - Lonsdale Road, Portland Road, Hamilton Road, Victoria Road, Grove Street, and Middle Way.

There are pay and display Car Parks within a 10 minute walk of the centre, including Alexandra Courts (1-3 hours for £2), Summertown Car Park (1-2 hours for £2.50), and Ferry Pool Car Park (1-2 hours for £2.50).

Summertown is also on a main bus route. The closest Bus Stop is 'South Parade’, with the following buses stopping there - 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 7, 25A, 94, 500, 700, S4, S5, N2, N7, NS5.

Meet the Manager

Nina started as the Practice Manager in September 2021. Away from The Practice Rooms, she is a coach and nutritional therapist. Her passion is supporting individuals and groups through the transitional phase of peri-menopause, to help shift the experience and navigate it in a way that works specifically for them.

Nina is making it her mission to ‘Change the story of menopause - one foggy brain at a time!’

I have been running my private practice from these wonderful rooms for six months and couldn't be more satisfied. The rooms themselves are comfortable, welcoming and stylish. There is everything that I need - from clock to refreshments - to make my clients feel secure and at home. An intuitive booking system makes room rental straightforward and I have a billing package commensurate with my use of the space. I've been particularly grateful for a supportive centre management that have helped me feel part of a professional family.

Basic Membership - £60.00pcm

Slot Membership:
3 - 9.5 hours per week - £10.95ph
10 - 14.5 hours per week - £9.86ph
15 - 19.5 hours per week - £8.76ph
20+ hours per week - £7.67ph

All additional hours - £12.90ph.

All memberships include a £7.50pcm admin fee.
