Beginning the therapy journey – or changing therapist – can be daunting. However, the process and the destination can be enriching and rewarding, and I hope to support you throughout that journey.
I am an integrative trainee psychotherapist registered with the BACP and UKCP and have experience of working with clients who experience anxiety, are grieving, going through work-related stress, as well as survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. I have a preference for working with long-term clients, as this allows for the space and time for issues to emerge and long-lasting change to take place.
I draw on a blend of somatic, psychodynamic, person-centred and existential therapies to support clients, using the most appropriate therapy for you as an individual who is aiming to make sense of your world. I have a calm and down-to-earth approach and aim to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and seen, and can share your thoughts and feelings freely, without judgement.
My work experience is in the VAWG (violence against women and girls) sector, supporting vulnerable women, and the not-for-profit sector for many years. This work experience combined with my life experiences means that I am able to empathetically hold clients’ experiences.
My preference is to work face-to-face, but I also offer online appointments. I currently have sessions available on Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as some evenings. I work from therapy rooms in Clapham Common, London Bridge and Shoreditch. My fee is £65.00 per session.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
