Hello, my name is Alina. I offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space, where you can explore the issues you want to understand, work through, or feel better about.

I am an accredited MNCPS psychotherapeutic counsellor with experience supporting clients with:

  • anxiety
  • self esteem
  • depression
  • bereavement
  • trauma
  • relationship and family difficulties
  • fears
  • stress management
  • challenges related to neurodiverse experience in society

I work in an integrative way, which means we can collaborate to shape the therapeutic process around your individual needs, whilst our work remains grounded in a client-led and person-centred approach. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity, including Autism, ADHD and OCD, informed both by close family experience and a genuine passion for supporting neurodiverse individuals. I understand the challenges of navigating a world that is still largely neuronormative, and I aim to help clients find balance, confidence and self acceptance within it.

I also support people facing work–life pressures or transitions at key life stages, such as new parenthood, mid life changes, and–specifically for women–the emotional and physical shifts that can arise post partum or during perimenopause and menopause.

My own life has included experiences of grief, trauma and anxiety, and I have been deeply grateful for the support I received through counselling during those times. These experiences have shaped my belief in the value of therapy and my hope that I can offer others the same sense of understanding, steadiness and care.

Life rarely follows a smooth or predictable path; sometimes it feels overwhelmingly uneven, and at other times not quite “uneven enough” to justify seeking help. Yet we all encounter moments when we feel lost, shocked, confused or lonely, and reaching out can be an important first step toward feeling grounded again.

My aim is to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever is going on for you at this point in your life, offering support that I hope feels attuned, respectful and genuinely collaborative.
