Ana Bakic

I’m Ana, a qualified Psychologist, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Organisational Consultant with over ten years of experience working with individuals from diverse personal and professional backgrounds. I am registered with BACP and BPS.

I am passionate about helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change by combining depth-oriented insight with practical strategies.

My therapeutic approach draws on psychodynamic traditions, while also integrating more contemporary and structured models like Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), which I am currently training in at the Anna Freud Centre. This allows me to tailor the work to your needs—whether you’re seeking open-ended exploration or more focused support.

Alongside clinical work, I work as a coach and consultant, helping individuals and teams explore leadership, emotional dynamics, and the evolving role of AI in the workplace.

I work with a range of issues, including:
Abuse, Addictions, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Leadership coaching, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Relationships issues, Self-harm, Sexual identity, Substance dependency, Trauma, and Work-related concerns.

Having lived and worked across cultures, I am particularly attuned to the experience of those who move between different cultural identities.

I offer therapy in English, Serbian, and Croatian.
