I am a qualified Humanistic/Existential Counsellor and Energy Healer. I am fascinated by the human experience with the question ‘who am I?’ being one I have been exploring for over 25 years. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgemental space where deep exploration of the self is welcomed.
My approach is grounded in Humanistic counselling, which means I believe that each person is unique and already carries the capacity for growth, healing and change. Rather than telling you who you should be, I aim to understand who you are. I offer a warm, genuine and non-judgemental space where you can bring every part of yourself–without fear of criticism or needing to have everything figured out.
Alongside my humanistic training, I’m deeply drawn to existential philosophy. I’m fascinated by what it means to be human and by the questions that often sit beneath our struggles. Questions such as: Who am I? Why do I keep repeating the same patterns? What gives my life meaning? How do I move forward after loss or change?
I have experience of working with clients on issues including anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal feelings, bereavement and loss, relationship issues, sexual identity, autism, ADHD, and loss of purpose or meaning. I also bring over 15 years of experience working closely with adults and adolescents in the education system and 10 years experience of working with young children and their families. This extensive background has given me a very grounded, practical understanding of human development, the pressures of modern systems, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are.
Alongside my extensive counselling training, I have spent the last 20 years exploring my own personal practice in contemplation/meditation and energy healing work. This has deepened my understanding of myself profoundly and I am able to offer sessions of energy healing exclusively or hybrid sessions where I combine my skills in counselling and energy work.
