| You look like you’re doing fine. You hold things together, show up for everyone else, and push through. But privately something is off – stuck, restless, flat, disconnected from yourself. You can’t name it, and you can’t shake it.
I’m an integrative and Gestalt psychotherapist working with adults face-to-face in London and online across the UK. I work with anxiety, burnout, trauma and its after-effects, low mood, relationship difficulties, self-criticism, life transitions, and the particular exhaustion of high-functioning people who have quietly run out of road. Why this may feel different from therapy you’ve tried. Most of the people who come to me have had therapy before. It helped them understand themselves, but understanding didn’t translate into change. That’s usually because insight alone doesn’t do it. Lasting change comes when understanding, emotion and the body move together. That’s the work we do here. I also don’t believe healing has to be painful. We won’t spend months excavating old wounds. Gestalt therapy works in the present moment: we notice how the pattern is showing up right now, in this room, in your body — and we work with it there, where it can actually change. How I work Integrative means I draw on several modalities and build the work around you rather than fitting you to a method. Sessions go beyond talking. We might use metaphor, drawing, movement, or shifting perspective — whatever gives you access to relief most directly. I’m not here to tell you what’s healthy or unhealthy. My role is to help you make sense of your experience, see the patterns, and find your own answers. I offer both short-term focused work and open-ended longer-term therapy. Coaching for professionals and business owners Alongside therapy, I coach business owners, freelancers and high-achieving professionals on the psychological blocks behind performance: perfectionism, procrastination, imposter feelings, decision paralysis, and burnout. The aim is clarity, resilience and a way of working that doesn’t cost you yourself. Who I work with Inclusion is central to my practice. I work with clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, trans and non-binary clients, neurodivergent clients, and people from a wide range of cultures, faiths and backgrounds. About me I came to therapy the long way round. My first career was in engineering, which gave me a lasting respect for science and research and taught me to see a person as a living system, where thought, feeling and body constantly shape each other. Having lived in several countries, I’m also attentive to how culture shapes what we feel and how we cope. Outside work, science, nature and art keep me grounded. |
