My name is Ash, and I’m an integrative counsellor offering counselling at the Bath Practice Rooms and online across the UK.

Counselling is my passion, and I love seeing the difference that this can make in people’s lives. My areas of special interest are in trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, neurodiversity, loss and grief. Being an integrative counsellor means that my training is in a variety of theories and approaches which I can draw upon in my work. I can work both short-term and long-term and work on a session by session basis, so you can be in control of the right timeframe of counselling for you.

My current training is primarily in Person-centred therapy, Gestalt and IFS. Person centred counselling puts you in charge of the counselling process, gestalt works in the here and now, focusing on developing self-awareness and an authentic connection between client and counsellor. Lastly, IFS allows us to work with ‘parts’ of self, if this is something that resonates for you. I’m also passionate about neuroscience, as this allows us to work with an awareness of how we respond to everything from our own thoughts and sensations to traumatic experiences. Lastly, as a queer and neurodivergent counsellor, I work in an way that affirms LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent identities, offering complete acceptance, whether you are just exploring questions around these experiences, or have been established in your identity for a long time.

I feel passionate about the importance of providing a counselling space where queer and neurodivergent people don’t feel that they have to explain themselves or their identity.

I charge £45 per session and sessions last 50 minutes. I have limited spaces available at concessionary rates for students and people on low income, please do contact me if you’d like to find out more about this. Please feel free to book a session if you would like to explore working with me, or if you would just like to ask some questions. A first session simply allows you to get a sense of whether I’m the right counsellor for you and for me to work out how I can best be of help to you.

Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
