Carolin Sternecker

Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist – Couples & Family Therapy – English & German

Relationships are at the heart of our wellbeing. Whether we are struggling in our relationship with ourselves, our partner, our family, or adjusting to a significant life change, therapy can offer a space to gain clarity, strengthen connections, and find new ways forward. I am a BACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist offering therapy for individuals, couples and families. My approach combines systemic and relational thinking with psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and cognitive-behavioural perspectives, allowing me to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each person, couple or family. I have a particular interest in supporting people navigating relationship difficulties, life transitions, separation and divorce, family conflict, identity and belonging, and the challenges that can arise within neurodiverse and intercultural relationships.

Having lived and worked internationally for much of my adult life, I am passionate about supporting expatriates, internationally mobile individuals, multicultural couples and families, and those trying to find their place between different cultures, languages or ways of life. I offer therapy in both English and German.

Areas of particular interest include: • Relationship and attachment difficulties • Couples therapy • Family therapy • Neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism) • Intercultural and multilingual relationships • Life transitions and identity issues • Separation, divorce and family change • Anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm • Self-esteem and personal growth

I offer a warm, collaborative and reflective space where clients can explore their experiences, deepen understanding and create meaningful change.
