Hello and welcome, I am a person-centred therapist with a deep commitment to creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

My journey into therapeutic work began in 2010, when I started volunteering with Childline. It was during this time that I truly discovered the power of listening, empathy, and presence — and the profound impact these can have on someone who feels unheard or overwhelmed. I completed my Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2012. My training hours were completed in Denbighshire County Council Social Services, working with vulnerable young people and their families. Once my training was completed, I worked as a School Counsellor throughout secondary schools across Denbighshire.

After some time, I decided to leave this role to travel. These experiences have shaped who I am, allowing me to connect with people from all walks of life and deepening my understanding of the human experience. They’ve also reinforced my belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand how important it is to feel accepted and supported for who you are. I aim to offer an inclusive and affirming space for all identities and experiences. As a person-centred therapist, I view you as the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you — offering nonjudgment, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard as you navigate your unique path. I also integrate elements of mindfulness into my work, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, presence, and emotional resilience.

I am a registered member of the BACP and strictly adhere to their ethical framework. This includes being fully insured, participating in monthly supervision and CPD. I also have a DBS check. I work with Young People, adults and couples. I also offer a free introductory call of around 20 minutes. Sessions can take place in person or online. Some of the areas I work with are:

  • Abuse
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Depression
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Gender Identity and Sexuality
  • Grief and loss
  • Miscarriage and Stillbirth
  • Relationships
  • Trauma
