Psychodynamic Psychotherapist offering sessions longer term, either once or twice weekly. Psychodynamic therapy is grounded in the idea that our early experiences continue to influence how we feel, behave, and relate to others in the present. Often, we’re only partially aware of these internal dynamics. Through therapy, we work together to bring those unconscious patterns into awareness. This can help make sense of difficulties you may be facing now, whether that’s anxiety, patterns of relatedness, how you feel about yourself, or identity. Therapy is a space where you can speak freely, reflect deeply, and begin to understand the inner patterns that shape your life. At its heart, the work is a commitment to listening, not just to the words you say, but to what lies beneath them. I listen at depth, without judgment, creating a safe and thoughtful environment where you can explore both the obvious and the unspoken. Rather than offering quick fixes, psychodynamic therapy aims for lasting change. By exploring your inner world at a deeper level, more compassionate and truthful understanding of yourself can be gained. This can lead to greater emotional freedom, more fulfilling relationships, and a stronger sense of self. My approach is collaborative and respectful. You won’t be pressured to talk about anything before you’re ready. Instead, we take the time needed to build trust, and to explore things at a pace that feels right for you. I work in a trauma informed way. If you’re curious about beginning therapy, I welcome you to contact me via email or telephone.
