Davina Williamson
I offer low-cost counselling to adults and young people 18 years and above in the Bath area. With 3 years counselling experience, working with clients who bring a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, loss/bereavement, relationships (past and present) and family dynamics.
Using a person centred approach, drawing upon humanistic and psychodynamic theory to support the therapeutic journey. My work currently includes working as a mental health practitioner within the NHS at Bath’s Royal United Hospital and Bath University. I am particularly interested in working with patterns of behaviour, issues surrounding self-esteem and difficulties in finding happiness or becoming unstuck. I aim to provide you with a nurturing environment which offers you the chance to explore your thoughts and feelings safely.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Currently engaging in my submission year on BCPC’s Humanistic and Integrative Counselling Diploma.
