Dr Tom Brockwell
I’m a Consultant Clinical Psychologist offering therapy and consultation support to help adults, young people, children and families cope and move forward positively, in the face of challenges that are too big to manage alone. Having worked for over 20 years in NHS mental health services, I have significant experience of supporting people with a range of difficulties, including anxiety and mood disorders, experiences of trauma, eating disorders, relational challenges and neurodevelopmental conditions, such as Autism and ADHD.
I imagine, if you’re reading this and looking for support, something in your life may feel stuck and you’re looking to change that. Taking this first step of seeking help is amazing, and I appreciate it might not have been an easy step to take. I offer a calm and supportive space where we can explore together what’s been difficult, begin to make sense of things and look at how to make changes; or ‘un-stick the stuck-ness’.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate, making it safe for us to explore and challenge what is making things tough at the moment. It’s important that you make a choice that is right for you in your next steps, so I offer a free 20-minute introductory call/video consultation so we can see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Please email tom@psychologypod.com to arrange this, or if you have any other questions. I’m a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
