My name is Edwina and I am an experienced Accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist offering a warm, reflective approach to understanding how difficult or distressing aspects of life impact us. My work explores feelings, thoughts, and actions linked to both past and present experiences. Negative patterns can play out in daily life and relationships and understanding these can lead to positive change and a more fulfilled life.

I support clients with a wide range of issues including relationships, work challenges, loss, bereavement, life-limiting conditions, trauma, and depression.

My experience includes working in NHS Psychotherapy Services, Private Practice, University Counselling Services, and School Counsellor for 11-18 years. I supervise trainee psychotherapists at Oxford University and The Metanoia Institute.

I run therapeutic groups for Breast Cancer Now for people with secondary cancer diagnosis,  Riverside Counselling Service adult therapy groups (open ended), and Adult Support Groups for those with complex needs adult children.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in Opera and Music Theatre Management in the UK and abroad. I have an interest in business management and performance related issues.

I am an accredited member of UKCP and a registered member of BACP. I have professional insurance and I abide by the UKCP & BACP code of ethics and conduct.
