Welcome – My name is Emily. If you’re considering therapy, I’d be honoured to support you in taking that first step. I can offer a calm and supportive space where we explore what is happening in your life. We work together to understand your experiences, notice patterns, and develop ways of coping that feel useful for you. We can explore your past, unpick your feelings in the present or create goals for the future – working together to discover what growth means for you. My aim is to create a space where you feel compassionately accepted and heard.
I’m a qualified MBACP registered Integrative Counsellor, based in South Bristol, which in short means I am able to blend different therapeutic approaches to suit your unique circumstances. I work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, relational challenges, and the effects of past trauma. My approach is integrative and relational, blending CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred, and existential perspectives. Therapy with me tends to be thoughtful, gentle, sometimes a little challenging, but always collaborative. An honest, safe, reflective space where you can start to make sense of your story and grow into a version of yourself that feels more at peace.
