My pronouns are she/her

I am a CAT Psychotherapist, accredited by ACAT (the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy). I am also an accredited CAT supervisor. I am trained in other therapy modalities which I use in addition to the CAT model to provide a tailored approach to meet client’s needs. With over 35 years’ experience working across multiple adult mental health settings within the NHS I have worked with people struggling with a wide range of difficulties, including those suffering from anxiety and depression and those with challenges arising from relational difficulties, childhood adversity, abuse and trauma and longstanding emotional distress. I enjoy working alongside individuals using the CAT model to help make sense of what is happening and to find ways to work through that together. This often involves looking at early experiences and /or relationships and thinking together about how they may impact on current difficulties. I would be happy for you to contact me for further details via my email address: coningtonfi@gmail.com We can arrange a phone call during where we can discuss your needs and to see if we can usefully work together. My working days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
