My pronouns are she/her

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working in NHS mental health services. I specialise in providing psychological therapy to autistic and neurodivergent individuals and adults with intellectual disabilities. The support I offer includes help to manage feelings of anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, rejection sensitivity, loneliness, low mood and adjustment to a new autism/ADHD diagnosis. My aim is to support people to feel comfortable living authentically, with knowledge and skills that equip them to achieve their goals in life. I also work with families/carers to support them to understand the needs of the person they care about, including maintaining their own health and psychological wellbeing.

In sessions, I work to create a safe, accepting space where you can share what you feel able to, and together we will develop an understanding of why things feel challenging and what strategies may help. Working collaboratively and with compassion are key values that underpin my practice.  I am experienced in making therapy accessible through use of visual materials, adapted session pacing and environmental adjustments to support any literacy, communication, sensory or attention challenges.  I use a neuro-affirming and integrative approach drawing primarily on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed models.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society ensuring my practice meets professional and ethical standards.

If this approach feels like the right fit for you please don’t hesitate to email me for an introductory conversation.
