Guy Fearon

Life can leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected. If you’re feeling challenged at this moment in your life I offer support and guidance for anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, work-related stresses and trauma recovery.

Here are some of the ways I might be able to help:

• Individual counselling for adults

• Trauma & grief processing

• Self-esteem & personal development

• Workplace stress & career counselling

1)  Individual counselling for adults Counselling offers a confidential space to explore personal challenges, foster self-understanding, and facilitate meaningful change. I integrate psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal methods within a psychosynthesis framework. Sessions may involve exploring unconscious patterns, processing emotions, developing coping strategies, and reconnecting with your authentic self.

The approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals. Clients often experience reduced anxiety and depression, improved emotional regulation, greater self-awareness, enhanced coping skills, and increased confidence in managing life challenges. Many report feeling more connected to themselves and their values.

2)  Trauma & grief processing For adults who have experienced childhood trauma, developmental trauma, complex PTSD, recent bereavement, significant loss, or those struggling with the ongoing impact of traumatic experiences on their daily life and relationships. I use trauma-informed counselling with gentle exploration techniques, somatic awareness, and evidence-based approaches. We work slowly and safely to process traumatic memories, reduce emotional overwhelm, and rebuild a sense of safety and connection with yourself.

3) Self-esteem & personal development Focused therapeutic work aimed at building confidence, self-acceptance, and personal empowerment. This service addresses deep-seated patterns of self-criticism, people-pleasing, and disconnection from your authentic self while fostering genuine self-worth. This work helps adults struggling with low self-confidence, negative self-talk, people-pleasing patterns, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, or those who feel disconnected from their true desires and values. It’s ideal for anyone seeking greater self-acceptance and personal growth.

4) Workplace stress & career counselling This is specialised therapeutic support for professionals, particularly those in high-pressure roles, facing challenges such as workplace conflicts, imposter syndrome, burnout, or those considering significant career changes. for which I draw upon my executive coaching background and experience in the corporate space. I combine therapeutic techniques with practical coaching strategies.

Clients typically develop better stress management skills, enhanced confidence in professional settings, and reduced symptoms of burnout. If any of the above feels like it might be right for you, please feel free to reach out to me to arrange a free, no-obligation phone call to talk further about what you’re looking for. After that we could arrange an introductory session to see if we might be a good fit to work together. I offer this at no risk to you; if we decide after that not to proceed for whatever reason, I will not charge you for that session. I offer this because I want potential clients to feel they can explore the idea of working with me with nothing to lose.

Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
