I offer individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. I work with families and parents. I have specialist interest in Therapeutic Parenting and work with families/individuals where there is developmental trauma, adverse early life experiences, and attachment challenges. I have professional and personal experience of neurodiversity and am interested in working with diversity in all its presentations. I am an experienced clinical supervisor and trainer.

DDP – Dyadic Developmental Practice is a therapy and parenting approach that uses what we know about attachment and trauma to help children and families with their relationships. Work with parent/carer is essential before enabling work with adult and child together in order to maximise emotional safety and therapeutic benefit for child.

Family Coaching – It’s a tough job being a parent – it can be hard to know how best to respond in difficult situations, and it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. I offer support and guidance for parents, and other family members, to improve the quality of family life. Whether you need some practical strategies, a supportive presence, or both – family coaching can be a great way to enhance your skills and confidence as a parent. The approach is very flexible, based on your needs.

My framework is pluralistic, my training is integrative, and my ethics are humanistic – prioritising respect, creativity and collaboration in all therapeutic endeavours. My primary training is in integrative arts psychotherapy. Additional training includes – Dyadic Developmental Practice; Brain Based Parenting; Attachment; Supervision; Systemic Therapy; Autism; Self-regulation; PACE; Psychosynthesis; Process Experiential Therapy; EMDR and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
