Joshua Harvey
Talking about sex and relationships can be challenging. My role is to help you to process these challenges in a way that feels right for you.
As an Integrative Therapist, I take an individual approach tailored to your individual needs and preferences. I view sexual and relationship concerns through the same holistic lens.
I work online and in person in Brighton and Hove.
I recognise how past experiences, attachment patterns, identity, and life context all impact your capacity for intimacy and connection. Whether working with difficulties around desire, arousal, communication, or identity, I aim to meet you with curiosity, care and empathy.
I work with adults of all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship styles. As a gay man, I understand the struggles and feelings of shame that come with being a minority. Working in a relational way, I will use my own lived experiences to facilitate my work with you.
I am committed to creating an inclusive, safe and non-judgemental space where you will feel held and supported through your therapeutic journey. I will work at your pace always.
I am in my final year of a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. I’m a Registered Member of the BACP, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and Student member of COSRT, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
