Katherine Byrne
I am a UKCP trainee Psychotherapist at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). I offer a confidential, grounding space for you to cover whatever has brought you to therapy, at your own pace. Therapy is a place where individuals can explore their feelings, make sense of their relationships, or simply have a space to feel seen and heard.
My approach is to create a non-judgemental, but curious & down-to-earth space that feels supportive and trusting enough to explore difficult thoughts, complex feelings, and any life experiences that have led to a sense of isolation, anxiousness, loss, or simply feeling not quite ourselves. In our initial meeting, we will start to navigate through this and decide if we are a right fit for one another. I welcome anyone who is in need of a listening ear into my practice, as I believe we all, at different times benefit from a shared space where we can speak freely and have the chance to move forward.
As I am training in Humanistic & Integrative psychotherapy, my modality is person-centred which means I believe in you being the expert on your own story – no one knows you better than you know yourself. My role is to be alongside you as you reflect on this insight and come to know and trust yourself more deeply. I currently offer low-cost therapy at a rate of £25 per 50 minute session and work at The Practice Rooms on both North Street and Queens Square in Bristol. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss further or book an initial session.
