Katherine Corsan
I practise nutritional therapy in Salisbury.
I am a former registered nurse and fully appreciate how challenging and limiting ill-health can be. Others may share your symptoms or diagnosis, but we are all unique individuals, therefore require individualised advice and support.
Online claims and magazine articles telling us what to eat are often over-simplified, contradictory and inaccurate. I am passionate about helping clients to understand what a ‘healthy diet’ really means, and how a body given the right nutrients can achieve optimum wellness.
A comprehensive and confidential medical case history will be taken to establish possible biochemical, genetic, emotional and environmental drivers of your symptoms. Potential nutrient deficiencies in your current diet will also be identified. You’ll receive practical advice on how to improve your health with an evidence-based, personalised, and achievable nutrition plan.
Clients may or may not have received a medical diagnosis, and often seek to address symptoms such as;
- Fatigue and low energy
- Insomnia
- Stress
- Diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, reflux, abdominal bloating
- Allergies and intolerances
- Recurrent infections
- Acne, eczema, rosacea
- Menstrual cycle discomfort, menopause symptoms
- Joint or muscular pain
- Blood-glucose dysregulation
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Dyslipidaemia (poor regulation of fats in the blood eg, cholesterol)
- Inability to lose excess body weight
- Anxiety, low mood
During the COVID-19 crisis, I am able to provide online consultations.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
