Starting therapy, whether for the first time or with a new therapist, can feel overwhelming and unfamiliar. Perhaps something within you is looking for change. You may not know exactly what, or even why, but find yourself here, searching for something different.
There’s no right or wrong way to be in therapy, and you don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. I offer a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever may be leaving you feeling stuck, low, anxious, or simply not quite yourself.
Whether something feels big or small, there is space for it here. I believe that it’s the relationship that heals. Many of us have not experienced feeling fully seen, heard and understood. Together, we can explore what it feels like to be in a secure, authentic and present relationship, developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the ways you relate to others and the world around you.
I feel that because no two people are the same, therapy should be responsive to who you are and what you need. We’ll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, gently unpicking the confusing and messy parts with curiosity and kindness, helping you feel more grounded, connected and free to be yourself in the world.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
