Kelly Giles

I offer a thoughtful, relational approach to therapy that values depth, context, and your own inner wisdom. I don’t offer quick fixes, labels, or a pathologising view of human experience.

I work trauma-informed, which means I notice how past experiences can affect how you feel, think, and respond today, and we work in ways that feel safe and manageable for you. My core approach is person-centred – you guide the pace and focus of our work, and I’m here to listen, reflect, and support rather than direct. I also work integratively, drawing on different approaches – body awareness, emotions, relationships, and thinking – to match what works best for you.

Therapy with me is relational: how we connect in the room can help you understand and improve your relationship with yourself and, eventually, your relationships with others. I pay attention to both your emotions and your body responses, supporting awareness and regulation, and we work collaboratively so your insight and experience shape the sessions.

People come to therapy for many reasons: reflection, healing, change, transition, or simply a sense that something needs attention. You don’t need a diagnosis, a clear goal, or a crisis to begin. We start where you are and work with what feels most important to you.

Alongside professional training, I bring lived experience, reflective depth, and a respect for the intelligence of the mind & body. I focus on moving through earlier experiences with greater ease, compassion, and integration, helping you reconnect with your own sense of agency and meaning.

I aim to offer a calm, grounded, and honest space where you can speak freely, explore openly, and develop greater self-compassion.

I work with adults (18+) from a wide range of backgrounds and am open to exploring whatever you wish to bring.

Fee: £70 per 60-minute session.

A limited number of reduced-fee spaces may be available – please feel to ask me.
