Kirsten Quirk
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2003 I have many years’ experience working in NHS Adult Mental Health settings. I have an interest in working with people who have suffered a range of difficulties including loss, trauma, neglect and abuse, which may present itself in relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or a sense of feeling stuck.
I am trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family systems (IFS) as well as drawing on a range of other models including compassion based approaches, psychodynamic and cognitive approaches. This allows me to be guided by really be guided by what may be most helpful to each individual.
I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council, the British Psychological Society and the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy and receive and offer regular supervision for my clinical work. I
