I’m an integrative psychotherapist in my final year of training. I have experience in a wide variety of mental health settings. I offer a safe and supportive space to help you feel better and enjoy your own life more.
In our sessions, we’ll start from what brings you to therapy. I’ll explain how I work and you’ll be able to clarify what you want from therapy. We’ll then work together to explore your feelings, thoughts, and memories in a way that seems good and right for you. Sharing our innermost experiences can be scary or painful, but it can also be creative and even playful. We may want to explore your dreams or use drawings. If you have a religious or spiritual side, that can also play a role. There are many pathways to healing – to feeling safer and better in ourselves and more able to enjoy relationships and life.

Among the issues you might bring are

  • anxiety and panic attacks
  • intrusive or suicidal thoughts
  • trauma from childhood or later relationships
  • problems with loss and grieving
  • questions about gender and sexuality
  • challenges related to sex or eating
  • overwhelming emotions and loss of control
  • loss of self or feelings of fragmentation

and many others. If you have a diagnosis or take medication, that can also be part of our conversations. I have extensive experience working and liaising with NHS care teams. I also have experience with neurodiversity.

I’ve been in training since 2017. From 2020 to 2022 I worked with clients in the Bristol Harbour, a charity that offers counselling related to end-of-life care and bereavement. From 2023 to 2026 I am on placement in the local NHS mental health trust working with families and individuals.

I usually see clients on a weekly basis, though meeting more or less frequently is possible after we have begun to work together. Sessions cost £45. An initial meeting costs £25. If you would like to inquire about an initial conversation or meeting, please get in touch.

I also have a career in teaching and research at the University of Bristol. For more than fifteen years, I’ve worked alongside young people as we learn about ourselves through philosophy, mythology, and literature. Please note that to preserve ethical boundaries, I cannot work therapeutically with any student or member of staff I might also work with at the university.
