Laura Coleman
Hi and welcome.
I’m Laura, a qualified Humanistic person-centred counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I bring extensive experience of working with young people, stroke survivors, and their families. My practice is further supported by an MSc in Neuropsychology.
I offer a confidential, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges at your own pace. I won’t tell you what to do or offer quick solutions. I believe you are the expert in your own life. You know what hurts, so you decide the direction of our work together at a pace you feel comfortable with. I will endeavour to enter your unique world with empathy, acceptance and genuine curiosity, helping you recognise your own strengths and inner resources while supporting you to process difficult emotions, rebuild confidence and move towards greater self-acceptance.
The thought of starting counselling can feel daunting. You don’t need to have a clear idea about what to bring or where to start. We can figure that out together. What really matters is the therapeutic relationship we create. For this reason, I offer a free 15-minute consultation, so please do phone or email to see if we may be a good fit.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
