Liz Gardiner
I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor offering low-cost counselling to adults. I work in the voluntary sector and in private practice. I’m in my final year of training for the Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling (BA (Hons) equivalent) with Bath Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling.
I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space to explore with you what might be causing you distress or preventing positive change, enabling you to enhance your life and live it more fully. I’m a person-centred counsellor but I also draw on a number of other different counselling approaches to help you create fresh potential, make new connections and discover new perspectives. I have experience helping people with relationship issues, anxiety, loss, panic attacks, bereavement, depression, issues of low confidence and/or low self-esteem, general unease or dissatisfaction with life.
I’m a registered trainee member of BACP. I hold a UKCP and BACP approved Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. I’ve a background in education and spent many years working as an English teacher and Pastoral Manager. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language & Literature and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Please email me in the first instance, if you would like to get in touch.
