Louise Creasey
I specialise in working with Children and Adolescents through play, creative arts and talking therapies. At the heart of my practice is the relationship I build with each child and young person. I believe this trusting connection is where meaningful change can begin.
With over 15 years’ experience working with neurotypical and neurodivergent children, young people and families, I bring extensive knowledge of adolescent mental health and the challenges that can arise during this important stage of life.
I have also worked widely in primary schools, using arts and play to help children explore big feelings when words are hard to find. Creative work can also give younger children and teenagers space to discover more about themselves.
I work with children and adolescents experiencing emotional challenges, including trauma, parental separation, school and friendship issues. I usually meet parents or carers first, although this may not be appropriate for teenagers. Early sessions are relaxed, allowing us to build trust and identify the support that best meets each young person’s needs.
I am a UKCP-registered child and adolescent integrative psychotherapist, supporting children and young people with neurodivergence, anxiety, low mood, self-harm, substance use and family or school difficulties. I can also work with parents and carers where helpful. I prioritise safety and connection, working at each individual’s pace in a way that feels right for them.
