Luke is a psychotherapist with a focus on supporting adults facing anxiety, shame, depression, compulsive habits, addiction and relationship difficulties. He understands that these struggles rarely stay contained to one part of life. They shape how people see themselves, influence relationships and intimacy, affect work, and can alter a person’s direction in life and sense of possibility.

His clinical work, writing and research are grounded in the understanding that many psychological and emotional difficulties emerge from patterns that have become stuck and then they struggle to adapt to life’s pressures, losses and changes. Therefore Luke works collaboratively with clients to develop greater self-understanding, self-acceptance and self-creation – enhancing their capacity to change and adapt in ways that are meaningful, authentic and unique to them and their circumstances.

His approach is relational, reflective and honest. He holds the belief that most people can move through difficulty towards a life of meaning or flourishing that might once have felt distant or unattainable. Luke holds qualifications in integrative psychotherapy, existential psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy.

He has lived and worked in numerous countries, with experience in both private practice and residential addiction treatment centres.

Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
