Marta Piechowicz
I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and a certified Process-Oriented Psychotherapist (POP, process work).
I am also an accredited Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) Practitioner, and have a background in philosophy, which deepens and enriches my work with clients.
I offer therapy in both English and Polish – in person in London and online. I have over 15 years of experience working therapeutically with people in private practice as well as in the NHS and I support adults and couples going through emotional challenges, life transitions, or seeking personal growth. I am passionate about helping people find their way through life’s challenges and connect with themselves and a deeper sense of meaning or direction.
I support adults facing emotional challenges such as relationship difficulties, bereavement, grief, anxiety, trauma, low mood, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, fertility and parenting struggles. I am passionate about accompanying women with care through pregnancy and motherhood. A special focus of my work is supporting parents after baby loss and during pregnancy after loss.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe that each person carries the potential for change and growth, even when life feels confusing. Together, we explore what is happening in the present moment – including thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and dreams – to uncover deeper layers of meaning and awareness.
I accept both self-funded and insurance clients – please check my website for details. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
