When Coping Mechanisms Aren’t Enough From the outside, you look like you have it under control. You are driven, resilient, and used to navigating high-stakes environments. But beneath the surface, the strategies that once propelled your success–relentless standards, hyper-independence, or carrying high expectations–might now leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. Whether you are dealing with corporate burnout, major career or relationship transitions, or adjusting to life in the UK, surface-level coping tips often fall short.

Real change happens when we go deeper: examining the internal scripts, implicit rules, and long-held beliefs that dictate how you live, work, and relate to others. How I Work As a Humanistic Psychotherapist in clinical training, I offer an active, collaborative partnership to safely unpack, interrogate, and challenge these outdated narratives. Humanistic therapy isn’t about giving you a rigid checklist or telling you who to be. It is a space designed to help you regain clarity, rebuild autonomy, and process the emotional complexity of life’s major shifts. Together, we look beyond quick fixes to understand why you operate the way you do–allowing you to make intentional choices rather than relying on automatic survival strategies.

My Areas of Focus • Burnout & High-Pressure Career Stress: Moving past chronic exhaustion, performance anxiety, and imposter dynamics to build a sustainable relationship with work. • Life & Relationship Transitions: Navigating career shifts, evolving identities, or relationship friction when old ways of relating no longer serve you. • Cultural Identity, Migration & Belonging: Understanding the nuances of adapting to life in the UK, code-switching, living between cultures, or navigating dual heritage. Taking the First Step Therapy with me is a dynamic, collaborative space where you don’t need to perform or have all the answers. I offer a confidential, grounded environment to reflect, recalibrate, and step back into your life with greater alignment.

I offer an initial consultation where we can discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions about my humanistic approach, and explore whether we are a good fit to work together.
