Nick Page
Hi, I’m Nick. My work brings together psychotherapy, depth-oriented coaching and somatic resilience, tailored to what each person needs. What I offer is a chance to look beneath the surface of what’s going on, and to begin to understand and change the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Most of us find ourselves, at some point, caught in old, often hidden patterns we didn’t choose and can’t quite explain. The ways we cope, relate and respond that once served us well may now be getting in the way. It takes courage to look at these, but understanding where those patterns come from, and what they’ve been protecting, is usually where things start to shift. From there, real choices become possible about how you want to live and who you want to be. Some of what keeps us stuck doesn’t respond to thinking alone.
Working with the body and the nervous system can create change that conversation by itself doesn’t always reach. It’s why I trained in trauma and somatic therapy: to help people get unstuck. Psychotherapy and Counselling Rooted in the humanistic and relational tradition, this is trauma and somatically informed work that takes the whole person seriously: not just what’s happening now, but where it comes from and what it’s been protecting.
Areas I work with include trauma and its effects, anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns, boarding school experience and late ADHD diagnosis. Depth-Oriented Coaching For people with a clear enough sense of themselves who want to move forward: making decisions, navigating transitions, working through what’s getting in the way. The focus is on clarity, direction and action. Somatic Resilience Sometimes what most needs attention isn’t easily reached through words. This work focuses on the connection between your nervous system, your body and your lived experience, helping you gently process what may be held as tension, stress or trauma.
Over time, we build your capacity to move out of survival responses and back towards greater presence and conscious choice. This draws on my CPCAB Level 5 training in somatic approaches to trauma. Working Across All Three What distinguishes my practice is the ability to bring therapy, coaching and somatic work together within the same client relationship, when that’s what’s needed. Rather than reaching a point of readiness and then having to find someone else, we can make that shift together and come back to the deeper work when that’s what matters. You’ll always know which kind of work we’re doing. Whatever the starting point, the work is always moving in the same direction: towards greater ease, more freedom, and a life that feels less managed and more lived.
