I work integratively, which means I draw from more than one therapeutic tradition to respond flexibly to your needs. At the core of my practice is the person-centred approach, which holds a deep respect for your autonomy, your inner resources, and your capacity for growth, even if things feel very stuck right now.

In person-centred therapy, the relationship between therapist and client is key. I offer a consistent space where you are met with empathy, honesty, and acceptance. I won’t offer quick solutions or try to fix you. Instead, I’ll offer a steady presence where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, without judgement or pressure. Over time, this can help you access parts of yourself that may have felt hidden, disconnected, or silenced. Alongside this, I integrate psychodynamic thinking into my work. This means I pay close attention to the emotional patterns and internal conflicts that may be rooted in early relationships or past experiences.

Sometimes we find ourselves reacting strongly to a situation, repeating familiar relational dynamics, or struggling with feelings we don’t fully understand. Psychodynamic work helps us explore where these responses come from and why they might have developed. Gaining this kind of insight can be a powerful step towards self-understanding and emotional change. By exploring this together, gently and without blame, we can bring awareness to unconscious patterns and create space for new ways of being.

My sessions are led by you, and we go at a pace that feels manageable and safe. Some people come to therapy with a clear issue they want to address, such as anxiety, grief, or a recent life event. Others come with a more general sense that something isn’t right–perhaps feeling disconnected, low in energy, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are.

I work both short-term and long-term, depending on what feels right for you. In short-term work, we might focus on a particular issue you’re facing. In longer-term therapy, we have the opportunity to explore your inner world more deeply, uncover patterns, and work through complex or longstanding challenges.

Ultimately, therapy with me is not about being given answers, it’s about creating space to ask deeper questions, to listen to yourself in new ways, and to feel more connected to who you are.

I’m here to support you in that process, wherever it leads.
