I am an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist and a member of BAAT, working with a variety of issues including anxiety, trauma, PTSD, birth trauma, sleep difficulties, bereavement, self esteem issues, addiction, relationship issues and emotional distress.

My approach is calm, attuned, and relational, offering a safe and containing space to explore experiences that may feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to put into words. I have an intuitive, playful and relational approach and have been working therapeutically for over 15 years. During this time I have worked as an online Counsellor, an Art Psychotherapist and a therapeutic Art facilitator with children and young people in both primary and secondary schools, higher education settings, therapy centres and Online.

I am also a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapist, offering EMDR both as a standalone treatment and as an integrated part of my clinical work. EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help the brain reprocess distressing or traumatic memories. It can reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and support recovery from trauma and PTSD as well as other issues like anxiety, depression, and birth trauma. This process allows traumatic memories to become less overwhelming and more adaptive, helping individuals move forward with greater ease and emotional stability.

Alongside Art Psychotherapy and EMDR, I draw on mindfulness, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) to support nervous system regulation. These approaches can be particularly helpful for sleep disturbance, anxiety, panic, and states of hyperarousal, supporting the body and mind to return to a calmer, more settled state.
