Robin Wiltshire
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I am a qualified Psychotherapist/Group Analyst registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I offer individual and group psychotherapy. Currently I have availability for those seeking individual psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I offer a confidential and boundaried space where I will listen and give you time to talk through, reflect and explore what’s weighing on your mind. We will think together about your experiences. I work within a psychodynamic framework. I am curious about our patterns of relating and our responses to life situations. Many of these have their origins in our early experiences and shape and influence our relationships and beliefs in our ordinary day-to-day lives. I will support you to make a deeper sense of your experiences and understand more about yourself, so that you can develop your resources and find your own way of moving forward and lead a more fulfilling and creative life.
I have been working therapeutically for over twenty years, initially as a Music Therapist (HCPC registered) and in more recent years as a Psychotherapist/Group Analyst. My experience includes working within NHS adult mental health and adult learning disability services, hospice care and education.
As a psychotherapist, music therapist and musician, I am interested in the different ways we can communicate our experiences and the process of finding the words to say what we need to say.
I have supported all kinds of people, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, bereavement and loss.
Please feel free to email me and we can arrange a convenient time to meet. At our first meeting, we can think together about the support you may need. In many ways psychotherapy is a new experience and will involve you making certain arrangements and commitments. Individual sessions last fifty minutes and take place once weekly. My fees are £65 per session.
I look forward to hearing from you.
