Robin Wiltshire
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I am a qualified Psychotherapist/Group Analyst registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am trained to work with individuals and groups.
Alongside my independent psychotherapy practice, I also currently practice as a Music Therapist (HCPC registered) within organisational settings.
I offer a boundaried and confidential space where I will listen and give you time to talk through, explore and reflect upon what is troubling you or on your mind.
I practice from a psychodynamic and relational perspective. Many of our patterns of relating, our behaviours and responses to life situations have their origins in our childhood experiences. These often shape and influence our relationships, beliefs and lives in ways in which we may not be fully aware of and lead us in directions that are not always helpful and can leave us feeling stuck. I will support you to make sense of your experiences and understand more about yourself, so that you can develop your resources and find your own way of leading a more fulfilling and creative life.
When we first meet, we can think together about the support you may need. In many ways psychotherapy is a new experience and will involve you making certain arrangements and commitments. I currently offer short-term and long-term individual once weekly psychotherapy, with sessions lasting fifty minutes. I work face to face. My fees are £60 per session.
Please feel free to contact me. I would be pleased to have an initial telephone discussion, or alternatively we can arrange a convenient time to meet in person.
I look forward to hearing from you.
