Sabrina Etherington
Something might be bringing you here that’s hard to name – a sense that your body knows something your mind hasn’t caught up with yet. That you’ve been coping for too long, or that something needs to change but you can’t quite say what. I work with adults navigating burnout, identity, sexuality, and relationships. My practice is queer and neurodivergent-affirming. You don’t need to translate yourself here.
My approach centres the somatic and the relational, meaning I pay attention to what’s happening in your body as well as your mind, and I believe change happens through genuine connection, not just insight. We might work with patterns in your relationships, how the past is shaping the present, or simply what your body has been holding. Sessions are collaborative, honest, and paced around you.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent over a decade in corporate strategy which shapes how I understand burnout, systems, and the weight of working within these systems. I’m also a qualified yoga teacher with additional training in the therapeutic nature of yoga, movement and breathwork. I’m in advanced training at the Metanoia Institute, working within UKCP accreditation standards and supported by a UKCP-registered supervisor.
I see clients in person in Shoreditch, East London and online. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to talk through what’s bringing you to therapy and explore whether working together feels right. If any of the above resonates, please feel free to get in touch.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
