Sarah Scott

Hello! I am a dramatherapist, creative arts psychotherapist and facilitator. The wound we suffer as a result of our experiences is our trauma, in therapy we hope to begin the task of healing those sore wounds. Dramatherapy is a form of psychotherapy which encourages people to show how they feel, rather than needing to find the right words.

Dramatherapy and creative arts therapies use conversation alongside creativity to explore your situation. We might draw or paint while we talk, use objects and materials or our bodies in our work together. In this way therapy can feel like storytelling, but isn’t limited to one mode of communication. I work with a range of clients of all age groups who are experiencing difficulties.

My particular areas of interest include matrescence, attachment, family life cycle, and bereavement.

We can meet in person or online on Mondays at The Practice Rooms, Clapham Common.
