I enjoy working with both adults and babies. I’m trained as a biodynamic craniosacral therapist and midwife. I have many years experience in the fields of midwifery and working with special needs people in residential communities . I’m a mother and grandmother. I’ve spent my life around people and have always enjoyed being both practical and helpful.
I am drawn to the holistic and gentle approach that Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy offers, and am fascinated by how wonderfully the body works to keep us healthy every single day of our lives. I know how stressful, demanding and overwhelming our world and lifestyles seem at times. I see that Craniosacral therapy can be part of helping us to feel more centred and connected again.
Craniosacral therapy is a relaxing and gentle light touch therapy, which can be helpful for a wide range of symptoms and health conditions. You will lie or sit fully clothed in a comfortable position on a massage couch or chair.
A craniosacral therapy session unfolds in collaboration with you. As a therapist I am trained to listen to the delicate and subtle motions within the body, and I am offering acknowledgement and space, without judgement or expectation. When offered deep listening, the body is able to come to clarity, shed patterns no longer needed, releasing tension and thereby accumulating energy to address current needs or challenges.
