Counselling and Psychotherapy in Transactional Analysis Your reasons for seeking therapy are as individual as you are. Whatever you are facing, I will meet you with compassion, sensitivity and safety so you no longer have to carry it alone. I am deeply committed to accompanying my clients with honesty, presence and care as they find their way to lasting inner change.\

How I work The therapeutic relationship has a different quality from other relationships in your life: it is deliberately structured to support you. Within its professional boundaries, we create a real relationship, uniquely focused on meeting you exactly as you are, and offering you warmth, support, and the conditions for self-understanding, growth and healing.

My work is shaped by my advanced training in Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy, which informs how I work with you to make sense of your story: how you experience yourself internally, in relationships, and in the deeper layers of your experience. I work from the understanding that relationships shape us, wound us, and are also where we heal.

Therapy offers a particular kind of relationship in which some of that healing becomes possible and, as trust develops, an experimental space to try out new ways of being. Who I work with I work with people of diverse backgrounds, identities and experiences, and have clinical experience working effectively with low self-esteem, childhood trauma and abuse, relationship and work challenges, parenting and complex family dynamics.

I also work with people navigating constrained circumstances, the material, social and systemic pressures that shape our lives and deserve acknowledgement alongside any inner work. I work sensitively with many mothers and carers, people who are often attending to everyone around them while carrying wounds from their own early relationships that have never quite had space to be seen. I also work with Autistic and ADHD individuals and those living with chronic illness.

I have personal and professional familiarity with neurodivergence and cross-cultural experience, and work well with those who feel they don’t quite belong or feel deeply different in some way. About me I am a UKCP registered trainee therapist in advanced clinical practice, working towards a Level 7 (Masters) in Transactional Analysis Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I hold a degree in English Literature and Art History, a PGCE in Early Years Education, I bring twenty-five years of experience encompassing teaching, complex caregiving, one-to-one support work and workshop facilitation. I hold a strong sense that there is intelligence and an innate movement towards growth and healing in each person. If growth or change feels buried, constrained or out of reach right now, I am committed to supporting the conditions where this can emerge for you.
